Introducing LootGoblin for World of Warcraft: Forever
LootGoblin ranks attainable gear upgrades against what your character is wearing, explains the difference, and shows where each item comes from.
Leet Geek has released LootGoblin, a gear comparison addon built specifically for World of Warcraft: Forever. It answers a practical question that comes up throughout every character's journey: which attainable item offers the strongest meaningful upgrade right now, and where can it be found?
LootGoblin compares potential gear against the character's actual equipped loadout. Recommendations account for class, role, selected stat priorities, paired equipment slots, and supported set bonuses before connecting an upgrade to its recorded source.
A recommendation, not just a score
LootGoblin shows the estimated gain and the stat changes behind each recommendation. Built-in class and role profiles cover levels 1 through 60, while custom profiles let experienced players adjust weights and limits for a specific build.
The scoring model is deliberately transparent about its boundaries. A positive result is an informed estimate, not a simulation or a universal best-in-slot claim. When item data or an effect cannot be supported responsibly, LootGoblin withholds the comparison instead of treating missing information as zero.
Upgrade guidance where players need it
Players can open LootGoblin from its minimap icon, the character sheet, or the /lg command. The main view ranks current upgrades and provides a detailed comparison against the equipped item.
Supported loot windows and quest rewards place a compact badge on items already present in the current top recommendations. World map pins lead to quest starters, vendors, and dungeon entrances while naming the relevant boss when that information is known. Nearby opportunities are consolidated so the map remains useful rather than crowded.

LootGoblin keeps its guidance close at hand while you play. Its recommendations draw from quest rewards, dungeons, vendors, professions, and other paths through Azeroth, helping you spend less time searching and more time chasing the next upgrade.
